"I am a graduate student at Santa Clara University getting my Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LFMT).

The kind of therapy I like to provide is Mindfulness-based, which includes mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Mindfulness-based therapy integrates mindfulness practices of present moment awareness, sensations in the body, inner feelings and thoughts, our reactions to specific situations, meditation, and breathing exercises.

I am a proud first-gen Latina who is interested in breaking generational trauma while upholding generational strengths. I am a LGBTQ+ ally.

Some of my interests include cooking, dancing, sports, and traveling. I strive to be my ancestors' wildest dreams. "

"I am a graduate student attending Santa Clara University in the Counseling Psychology program, with an emphasis in Health Psychology. I completed my undergraduate degree at San Jose State University.

I was born and raised in San Jose and I absolutely love living and working in the Bay Area!

I am open in my approach to therapy, but I am especially interested in utilizing techniques from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person Centered (Humanistic), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

My interests include baking, traveling, trying out new coffee and boba spots, reading, and spending time with my family including my dog, Marty."
