Apply for Admission
- Create an account and apply to Mission College via CCC Apply.
- You will receive your Student ID number (G01234567) within 24 hours.

Apply for Financial Aid
- Apply for Financial Aid by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the CA Dream Act Application. Financial Aid applications take between three to four days to process.
- Mission College’s school code is 014458.
- Visit FinancialAid.MissionCollege.edu for more information.

Access Mission Portal and Complete Placement
- Access the Mission Portal using the WVM username/email that was sent to you after you applied to the College.
- Complete the Placement process for Math and English in My Mission Portal.
- Clear prerequisites with prior experience or previous coursework, if applicable, via
Assessment.Missioncollege.edu.
- If you are taking for credit ESL classes, complete the separate ESL assessment.

Complete Orientation
- Orientation is required for all new students.
- Visit My Mission Portal to complete the self-paced, online orientation.
- Visit information on Orientation for further guidance.

Meet with a Counselor
- Meet with a counselor to help select classes for the upcoming term.
- Schedule an appointment with a counselor to create an Education Plan.
- Visit Counseling.MissionCollege.edu for further guidance.

Register and Pay for Classes
- Register for classes via My Mission Portal.
- Fees not covered by financial aid are due when you enroll.
- Visit Admissions website or Financial Aid for further guidance.

Activate your WVM email
- Once you register for courses, all college information will be sent to your WVM email
address.
- You can access your WVM email within My Mission Portal.
- Visit student email for further guidance.
