Mission College allows students to audit a course for personal interest, but auditing does not provide course credit. To audit a course students must meet the audit eligibility criteria.
The Governing Board of the West Valley-Mission Community College District, under the provisions of Chapter 5, Section 76370 of the Education Code, hereby authorizes individuals to audit regularly scheduled credit courses, subject to the following conditions and provisions:
To add onto an auditable course the student must complete the Audit Form and enroll in-person at Admissions & Records. Fees for auditing a class are $15 per unit. Fees are non-refundable.

Mission College accepts the following payment methods:
To be eligible for a refund of enrollment fees, students must drop their classes by the published deadline on the course-level deadlines. Dropping a class after the deadline will result in a forfeiture of enrollment fees.
Refunds for credit card payments will be processed back to the student’s original credit card. ACH payments will be refunded via check and mailed to the student's current home address on record. Refunds for check or cash payments will also be issued by check and sent to the student's current address. Make sure your home address is current to avoid delays.
For short-term classes, enrollment fees will be refunded if students drop the class before 10% of the scheduled meetings have elapsed. For short-term classes that meet five days or fewer, students must drop before the first class meeting to be eligible for a refund.
