Mission College is committed to a more sustainable future through campuswide efforts
to reduce its carbon footprint and promote responsible environmental practices. From
energy conservation to resource management and community engagement, sustainability
is embedded in how we operate and grow.
We are advancing sustainability through initiatives that conserve resources, reduce
waste, and support eco-friendly practices across campus. New buildings are designed
to meet LEED standards, and sustainability is integrated into daily operations through
energy-efficient design and responsible waste management.
The Sustainability Master Plan (SMP) guides this work, outlining long-term goals and
clear priorities for reducing environmental impact. As a living document, it drives
progress in transportation, waste reduction, and resource conservation while engaging
students and the broader community.
