Dr. Vu completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley in Nutrition and Food Science and received her Pharmacy degree at University of the Pacific. She has 30 years’ experience in retail pharmacy in which she has worked as a staff pharmacist, pharmacist in charge, and pharmacy manager.
During that time, Dr. Vu had the pleasure to act as a Preceptor for high school students interested in pursuing pharmacy school, prospective pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students during their Amcare rotation. She is forever learning and therefore keen in learning about new drug development and treatment to update the Pharmacology curriculum.
Currently, Dr. Vu is a purchasing pharmacist at Valley Medical Center for the 15+ ambulatory pharmacies, throughout the County. She says, “I take pride in saving the County in hundred thousands of dollars annually by performing inventory management.
