Monster Dash and Bash 5K Walk/Run

Kick off your Halloween season at the Monster Dash & Bash 5K on Saturday, October 10, 2026. This fun walk/run begins and ends on our beautiful Mission College campus. Whether you're racing for a personal best or enjoying a festive stroll with family and friends, there's something for everyone.

Get ready for the Halloween-themed Monster Dash & Bash 5K! Open to all ages and fitness levels, this festive walk/run invites you to show off your costume as you make your way through a spirited course filled with music, Halloween fun, and Mission College pride.

Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, bring the whole family for a morning of community, creativity, and celebration.

Early Packet Pickup:

Participants who register by Wednesday, October 7, at 12:00 p.m. may pick up their race packet on Friday, October 9, from 1:00–7:00 p.m. at the Mission College Welcome Center, located on the first floor of the Student Engagement Center (SEC).

Participants who register after the deadline or are unable to attend early pickup may pick up their race packet beginning at 7:30 a.m. on race day at the event site.

Race Day Schedule

7:30 am - Check-in & race day registration opens
8:45 a.m. - Kids Trick or Trot Race starts
9:00 a.m. - 5K Race starts
9:30 a.m. - Beer garden and other post-race activities open
10:30 a.m. - Award Ceremony

The race features a fully supported, closed course with water stations and first aid available throughout the event. After you cross the finish line, stay and enjoy the Beer Garden, live entertainment, and local food trucks.

The Monster Dash & Bash 5K begins and ends on our beautiful campus at 3000 Mission College Blvd., Santa Clara, CA 95054.

Along the route, you'll experience firsthand how Mission College serves our community, with highlights showcasing our academic programs, student success stories, and the many resources and support services available to students.

Race Day Guidelines

Participants must remain on the designated course, follow all event directions and traffic controls, and complete the race by 10:30 a.m., when the finish line closes.
