Get Help from a Librarian

Research help is just a phone call away. Call our Reference Desk (408 855-5151) during regular Library open hours and speak with a librarian about your research needs. When the Library is closed, you can submit a research question using the Library Reference Request Form.

The Library Catalog includes books, e-books, videos, DVDs, streaming videos, and other material. You can request items from West Valley College or place a hold on items for easy pick-up next time you are on campus. Refer to the Location List for a description of the different locations used in the Library's Online Catalog.

Bring 10 cans of food to the Library to check out one textbook for the entire semester. Donated canned food goes to Second Harvest Food Bank. Quantities are limited – first come, first served.

Request a Book

You can use the Mission College Library's LINK+ service to request books from over 30 other libraries in California and Nevada. Requested books can then be picked up at either Mission College or from one of the member institutions (which may be closer to you).
