Online library materials are available around the clock through the Library's Research Databases. A Mission ID is required to access these resources from off campus. Among the resources available are:

Search The List of Full Text Periodicals
Find out if a specific newspaper, magazine, or journal is available at Mission College. This list includes the name of the database in which the periodical can be found.
Search the Library Catalog
The Library Catalog includes books, e-books, videos, DVDs, streaming videos, and other material. You can request items from West Valley College or place a hold on items for easy pick-up next time you are on campus. Refer to the Location List for a description of the different locations used in the Library's Online Catalog.
Search the List of Textbooks in the Food for Textbook Program
Bring 10 cans of food to the Library to check out one textbook for the entire semester. Donated canned food goes to Second Harvest Food Bank. Quantities are limited – first come, first served.

A valid West Valley-Mission student, faculty, or staff email address is required to access this database. Students will need to use their @mywvm.wvm.edu email address to log in to and register for an account to use this database. This database Includes tech and business ebooks from more than 250 publishers along with videos, case studies, exclusive O’Reilly-produced content from world-renowned innovators and corporate leaders, expert-curated learning paths and self-assessments. Request a Book

Requested books can then be picked up at either Mission College or from one of the member institutions (which may be closer to you).
