Bianka  Guardino

Counselor, Student Support Services

Bianka provides academic, career, and personal counseling. She has experience as a counselor working with diverse student populations at several colleges. In addition, she has conducted cultural awareness workshops at colleges and a mental health institution. Bianka has lead groups in stress management, anger management, grief/loss, assertiveness, and emotional intelligence. My passion for working with students is to empower their decision making and emotional intelligence. To increase their problem-solving skills, stress tolerance, interpersonal relationships, empathy, assertiveness, and emotional expression. I believe students with high emotional intelligence have greater success in college and life.

She is fluent in Assyrian and Farsi. Bianka also has experience as a social worker in mental institutions and hospitals.
