Step into the enchanting world of dance as sjDANCEco showcased its mesmerizing performances at Mission College’s Viso Sports Complex.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- Step into the enchanting world of dance as sjDANCEco showcases its mesmerizing performances at Mission College’s Viso Sports Complex. The open dance studio event, held from Monday, July 22, through Sunday, July 28, invites audiences to witness the exceptional talents of professional dancers presenting innovative works by acclaimed choreographers Maria Basile, Nhan Ho, Fred Mathews, Hsiang Hsiu Lin, and more.

"The collaboration between sjDANCEco and Mission College continues to be an excellent opportunity for our students and the community to experience the artistry and energy of contemporary dance up close," said Brenna Wundram, Professor of Kinesiology at Mission College. "sjDANCEco has inspired and engaged audiences throughout the years, and we are delighted to support their work."
Founded in 2003 to address the demand for contemporary dance opportunities, sjDANCEco has been a vital part of the San Jose community, offering both residents and local dance artists a platform to excel. Through outstanding programs, they have provided access to high-quality contemporary dance performances, introducing audiences to the beauty of dance and fostering a deep appreciation for the art form.
 
sjDANCEco's performances captivate audiences with their groundbreaking routines that pushed the boundaries of contemporary dance. In addition to hosting these awe-inspiring performances by sjDANCEco, Mission College offers exciting opportunities for dance enthusiasts looking to showcase their talents. Students can join the Mission Dance Company during the Fall or Spring semesters, participating in various 1.0 unit classes aimed at enhancing their dance skills within a vibrant community.
