Take the next step toward earning your degree by submitting your Graduation Application. This is your chance to celebrate your accomplishments and walk across the stage with pride in Spring 2026.
The application period opens on January 1, 2026, so be sure to apply early to secure your spot. If you miss the initial deadline, late applications will be accepted through the beginning of April. Don’t miss this important opportunity to mark the culmination of your hard work and dedication!
Step 1: Meet with a Counselor- Schedule a counseling appointment to confirm all graduation requirements have been met.
Step 2: Submit Your Application - Log in to My Portal and complete the “Apply to Graduate” form. Missing documents may delay or deny your graduation.
Step 3: Submit Required Documents - If needed, send official documents to the Admissions & Records Office. See “After the Application” section for details.
AA/AS Degrees - 60 units, major requirements (C or P), 2.0 GPA, 12 units at Mission
AA-T/AS-T Degrees - 60 transferable units, CSU GE or IGETC, 2.0 GPA, 12 units at Mission
Certificates - All required courses (C or P), 2.0 GPA, 1/3 completed at Mission
All graduates must wear a black cap, gown, and tassel. Contact Outreach and Recruitment for regalia support. Free LGBTQIA Pride stoles available. Order caps, gowns, and tassels from PromoConnections. On-campus pickup available before the ceremony.

Honors Distinction for Associate Degree Recipients
(Applies to Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate in Arts for Transfer,
and Associate in Science for Transfer degrees)
Summa Cum Laude: GPA of 3.80 or higher
Magna Cum Laude: GPA between 3.50 and 3.79
Cum Laude: GPA between 3.30 and 3.49
