At Mission College, we believe in the transformative power of community, culture,
and personal growth. Umoja fosters a sense of belonging through culturally relevant
curriculum and supportive relationships. Together, we uplift one another, striving
for academic excellence and lifelong success.

as students from other disproportionately impacted populations, to achieve academic
success and personal empowerment. Umoja offers a unique, nurturing space where students
can build connections, engage in cultural activities, and access vital resources that
ensure their success in college and beyond.
All Mission College students, regardless of background, are welcome to join! Umoja
