FDR 072 Intermediate Cuisine.
Explore exciting food preparation, international cuisines and enjoy an overall good time learning, preparing and, then of course, tasting. Do not worry if you have not taken any cooking classes or are new to our program. For our new and/or FDR 051 students, this is a great way to learn/reinforce your skills and cooking techniques. A uniform is required. Wednesday evenings.

HMT 75 Housekeeping in Hotels. 
This online class will give you the basics of a critical department for all lodging facilities. If you have ever stayed more than one consecutive night in a hotel or motel, then you know how important the housekeeping function is. 100% online instruction.

FDR 106A Food Truck: Starting a Mobile Business. 
If you did not know, your Hospitality Management program has a fully equipped 30ft mobile kitchen? Come play,  I mean plan, a food truck menu and learn how to operate this dynamic vehicle. You will also learn the basics of mobile food operations and starting a food truck or mobile business. 

FDR 051/051S Basic Food Preparation. 
Learn the fundamentals and basics of food preparation. This lecture/lab class features hands-on preparation, plate presentation and overall common foodservice operational practices and standards. Have fun while learning and tasting. A uniform is required. This class is required for each of our certificates and degree.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

FDR 060A Facilities Planning. 
Use your creativity and plan a food service concept to scale. Menu planning, equipment selection and local codes are core objectives. This class is highlighted by multiple presentations and facilities tours from accomplished industry professional. This is a SPRING ONLY class and is required for our certificate and/or degree. Wednesday evenings.

INF 050 Sanitation and Safety
In addition to learning how to prepare food in a safe and sanitary manner, you can earn the very valuable Serve Safe certificate that all food serving operations require. This certificate has been proven to boost employability. This class is also required for any of our credentials. Monday evenings.
