Pharmacy Technician Program
Next Pharmacy Technician Cohort Starts August 25, 2025
Mission College is proud to announce the Pharmacy Technician Program is now non-credit, offering tuition-free courses to those who live in the West Valley-Mission service area.
Pharmacy Training Toward a Certificate of Completion
Our nine-month program takes a very practical approach to pharmacy training and is designed to prepare graduates for work in one of many pharmacy settings in a short period of time.
The program is excellent for recent high school graduates, college students, other health care workers, those looking for a career change, anyone who wants entry into the pharmacy or health fields, or anyone who wants to learn and skill and start a new career!
Classes are taught by both pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians practicing in all areas of pharmacy. Students will receive hours which include class and lab instruction, tutoring, and clinical externship training in a pharmacy.
Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion, qualify for licensure (registration) by the CA State Board of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam eligibility.
