Online Learning

• Asynchronous Online Classes – Maintain the most flexibility by choosing asynchronous online classes. In these classes you can learn at your own pace and on your own time so long as you meet instructor set deadlines. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain a job or care for your family while studying.
• Synchronous Online Classes – Study from anywhere while learning live from your instructor by choosing synchronous online classes. Synchronous online classes let you attend class from wherever you wish. The class may be fully or partially synchronous, requiring varying amounts of scheduled online attendance. Reduce your commute, while interacting live with your instructor and classmates.
• Hybrid Classes – Get the best of both worlds by choosing hybrid classes. Hybrid classes require some in-person attendance, but balance that with synchronous or asynchronous instruction. You may find that hybrid classes offer you just the right amount of in-person and on-campus connection, while providing the flexibility you need.

Use the Instructional Mode filter to limit your results to Asynchronous Online, Synchronous Online, or Hybrid Classes based on your preferences.  Remember that if Mission College does not have the class you want in the instructional mode you are seeking, you can enroll seamlessly in classes at West Valley College as well.  Simply change the college filter to West Valley College to see what they have to offer.  Remember though their hybrid classes will require in-person attendance at the West Valley College Campus.
