                        Mission College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior
                              Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. This commission
                              is recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher
                              Education Accreditation.
                        
                        The College is approved by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and
                              the Veterans Administration to train veterans and their dependents. Transferable units
                              completed here are accepted by the University of California, California State University,
                              and other accredited institutions.
