About Research & Planning

The Office of Research, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness provides research and planning services such that the College: has access to reliable data, analysis, and reports leading to informed dialogue and effective decision making; systematically assesses and evaluates student learning and success as part of a continuous process of improvement; and meets State and Federal reporting guidelines; within a shared culture of evidence.

The purpose of Institutional Research is to provide usable information as part of a culture of evidence, supporting thoughtful decision making that improves student success and guides college planning. To accomplish this, the office conducts research and provides reports related to college initiatives, enrollment management, educational and facilities master planning, matriculation, and accreditation as well as for purposes of state and federal reporting.
