People, Culture, and Society

Prior to coming to Mission, Britta taught English as a second language at different private schools and adult schools throughout the bay area. While growing up in East Germany, Britta fell in love with the English language and was able to develop a first-hand understanding of what it’s like to learn English as a second language, an experience that informs her passion for teaching. Britta taught and worked abroad, in Germany and London, England, before coming to teach in California.
