Lale Yurtseven is an MBA professional with international management experience and extensive knowledge in business, management, sales, training and development, and entrepreneurship offering technical know-how and excellent understanding business processes, technologies, innovation, and higher education. During her career in education, she has become an expert in distance learning and has enabled institutions and faculty members to successfully transition to online education.
After her studies, she has worked in multiple industries, such as telecommunications, non-profit organizations, music and entertainment, and computer technology. She has started two companies and has been teaching at community colleges since 2006, when she started teaching at De Anza College, followed by West Valley College. In 2014, Lale became a full-time faculty member at Cañada College and transferred to CSM in August 2018.
Lale brings a wealth of teaching experience in teaching courses including: Introduction to Business, Business Law, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Ethics, Management and Leadership, Business Technology, and more. Since her teaching career, she has established and managed campus-wide initiatives such as entrepreneurship programs and centers, business clubs, and business education grants.
Lale is a distance education expert and has successfully led the institutional distance education committee through the challenging times during the transition from in-person to distance education.
