Lakshmi is a part-time Accounting instructor at Mission College, and has been with the institution for nearly 22 years since joining in the Fall of 1997. Most recently, she has been teaching Accounting 1A and 1B. In addition to teaching at Mission College, Lakshmi has also been teaching at De Anza College since the Spring of 2002.
Prior to teaching at Mission College, Lakshmi used to be a full time instructor at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. There, she worked in the Accounting Department, teaching a large variety of courses including Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, Income Tax, and Theory and Practice of Management. She taught at Osmania University for over 9 years before moving to the US in 1993.
Overall, Lakshmi has been teaching Accounting for over 30 years, and loves to do so.
