Following his public accounting work in the Bay Area, Greg Mostyn joined Mission College as one of the first faculty in the Accounting department, and helped to create the college accounting program and develop much of its foundation curriculum.
In addition to teaching, Greg’s primary academic interest is instructional design and learning efficiency. He has published journal articles on these topics as well as authoring a basic accounting textbook and a payroll book. He serves as a peer reviewer for Issues in Accounting Education.
He has taught courses in basic, principles, financial, intermediate, and tax accounting, and consulted in the financial and income tax areas.

Fast Facts
Greg served in the Peace Corps in Peru and has traveled in much of South America. He enjoys hiking Bay Area trails, travel, reading, and the study of options and foreign exchange. His greatest professional satisfaction is watching students succeed and move on.
