Chandra Brooks is a Best Selling Author, TEDx Speaker, and Entrepreneur and founder of The Powerhouse Academy & The Powerhouse Women. A program that turns women leaders with a message, movement or business idea into full-time Entrepreneurs. 

Marcos Pizarro is the Associate Dean of the College of Education and a Professor of Chicanx Studies at San José State University.  

María Joaquina Villaseñor (Ph.D. University of California, Berkeley) is a Professor of Chicanx/Latinx Studies at California State University, Monterey where she has been a faculty member since 2006. Dr. Villaseñor teaches courses in Chicanx/Latinx Studies and Comparative Ethnic Studies and is a co-author of The Historical Dictionary of U.S. Latino Literature (2017).

Maria de Los Angeles is a New York City-based artist, raised in California, Mexican born, whose imagery focuses on issues of undocumented migration, displacement, identity, and otherness, working primarily in drawing, painting, installation, performance, fashion, and sculpture.

Harvard's Cesar Chavez spoke of the importance of having a Hispanic Culture Heritage Month, on how students can stay motivated, continue their higher education, and the need for allyship for immigrants and undocumented people.
