Mission College and West Valley College have joined a growing list of community colleges in requiring vaccination for their students and employees.
More information available at covid.missioncollege.edu.
The West Valley-Mission College Community College District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a requirement on Tuesday, September 21 that students, faculty, and staff must be fully vaccinated by November 1.
Current Fall students who are taking in-person classes or are coming to campus will need to be vaccinated. Fall online students, not on campus, do not need to show a vaccination status. Students on campus who do not provide the information will need to be tested weekly and have a negative COVID test.
Students will not be able to register for Winter or Spring classes without a vaccination. More information is available at covid.missioncollege.edu.
Some Bay Area community colleges with similar requirements are Ohlone, DeAnza, Foothill, Cabrillo, San Mateo, Skyline, Canada, San Jose, and Evergreen Valley.
