COVID Vaccination Pop Up at Mission

SANTA CLARA, Calif.-- Mission College will host a one-day free COVID vaccination event on Tuesday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for anyone age 12 years or older. The second vaccination will take place on June 22.

No registration is required.

The event will take place in the Freeberg Hospitality Management Building on campus. Visitors can park in Lot B or C and walk to the building adjacent to the parking lots.

Visitors can also take a picture with a Dr. Anthony Fauci life-size cutout and share on social media at @go2missionSC and @scc_publichealth.

According to Santa Clara County Health, 76 percent of residents older than 12 have received one dose and 64 percent are completely vaccinated.

The event is co-sponsored by Santa Clara County Public Health, school districts in Santa Clara and Santa Clara County, and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

Children ages 12 to 17 will need a signed permission form or phone call on-site to be vaccinated.
