SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Mission College’s Marketing Office was awarded five times at last
week’s CCPro Annual Marketing Conference for California Community Colleges, taking
home three first place trophies.
With 114 community colleges making up its membership, Mission College was awarded
“best in state” for its printed schedule, printed catalog and semi-annual newsletter.
It also took home a second place certificate for its tropical ecology poster and third
place for its outdoor banners which adorn the campus.
“The publications that won were truly collaborative efforts among our college’s staff,
faculty and students,” said Marketing Director Niall Adler. “My staff of graphic designer
Shelbie Turner, webmaster Ken Oda, coordinator Shoba Singh, as well as graphic design
interns Carlos Miras and Randy Morales contributed to this effort, but we could not
have done it without the Office of Instruction, most notably Melissa Stewart and John
Spencer, as well as our Executive Cabinet, deans, faculty, department chairs and individual
staff members across the campus. It was truly a team effort.”
