SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Mission College in Santa Clara is opening its doors to the community with help from its Hospitality Management and Accounting departments.
The Mission Bistro, run entirely by our students in its culinary program, will serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting Tuesday, February 13 until mid-May in the Freeberg Hospitality Management Building. The Bistro is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from lunch. The sitdown style restaurant costs between $10-$15 per person. Menus are available online at hm.missioncollege.edu.
The Accounting Department is joining forces with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and offering free tax help on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Those community members who generally make $54,000 or less are eligible for help from our IRS-certified volunteers. Those interested can go to Gillmor 219 or to accounting.missioncollege.edu for more information.
