Support Services On Campus

Coursework can be challenging in the accounting discipline, but Mission College offers many resources to help support its students. 

Counseling Services  - help plan out the best courses to fit your schedule and meet your goals with our counselors.  For more information call 408-855-5034.

Academic Support -Tutoring Center - Free tutoring is available to Mission students for accounting and many other disciplines.  For more information call 408-855-5095.

International Students –Mission has a dedicated center for international students to help support them in their academics.  Call 408-855-5110 for more information.  Languages Spoken by Staff and Faculty: Cantonese, Chinese, French, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tamil, and Vietnamese. 

Transfer Center - even if you are considering the option of transfer to a university, consider visiting the school’s Transfer Center to plan in selecting your major, choose your transfer college, and gain an understanding of the admissions process.  Call 408-855-5115 for more information.  

Veteran’s Center - The Veteran’s Center (or VALOR) helps support veterans in their college endeavors.  There is a dedicated space located on the second floor of the Campus Center (Room 240), where veterans can hang out, do homework, and meet other veteran students.  Call 408-855-5418 for more information. 

Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS) –The DSPS department is here to support students with verified disabilities.  Services include test-taking accommodations, note-taking, and others.  Call 408-855-5085 for more information. 

Child Development Center - Mission College offers part-time and full-time childcare for ages 6 weeks to 5 years.  This Center provides fee-based services as well as subsidized care to qualified families through the State Preschool and CalWorks programs. The financial information on your application will determine if your family qualifies for subsidized or free care.  Call 498-855-5173 for more information.
