We encourage you to visit our campus and learn more about our educational programs. We offer a unique set of over 70 certificate, degree and transfer programs. Click on the link to Certificates & Degrees to find degree requirements, course descriptions, career options, and faculty information. Students at Mission College may choose to complete one or several of the following educational options:
- Certificate programs are short career programs designed to prepare students for immediate employment. Completion of one of these program will provide employers with evidence that specific training has been completed.
- Associate degrees (associate in arts or associate in science) also provide training in a specific area. A minimum of 60 units of academic credit is required that includes general education courses and major courses. Some vocational areas (e.g. Licensed Vocational Nursing, Psychiatric Technician) may only require an associate degree to be employed in the field.
- Transfer programs prepare the student for junior standing at a college or university which grants advanced degrees (B.A., B.S., M.A., M.S., etc.). The courses in transfer majors are designed as a college/university parallel program for the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s program. Check Mission's Associate Degrees for Transfer option.
- Personal Enrichment is one of the many benefits of attending Mission College. There is a wide variety of courses offered each semester for students seeking personal enrichment and lifelong learning. Students do not need to pursue a certificate or degree program to enroll in courses.
