- Reading competency. Students can meet this competency via a test administered by the Assessment Center,
or completion of our Reading 54 (REA 054) course.
- Information Literacy competency. Students can meet this competency via the Information Competency Proficiency Exam administered by the Assessment Center, or completion of our Library 10 (LIB 010) course.
Students with disabilities can contact the Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS) in Room CC-240 or by calling (408) 855-5085 or TTY at (408) 727-9243 to inquire about taking competency exams with accommodations.
