Daniel (above, middle) has been a part of the program for over three decades, first
as a student, then as a part-time faculty and now as a chef instructor. He has also
worked locally throughout that time in the Hospitality Management industry.
Daniel began as a part-time faculty member at Mission College in 2001 and became a full-time professor in 2014. He was tenured in 2018.
Daniel earned his AS in Food and Restaurant Management from Mission College in 1996 and anAA in Biological Science from Fullerton College. He went onto an Associate of Occupational Science in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. He also earned a BS in Hospitality from San Jose State in 2016.
