Dean, Student Support Services

Dan Sanidad is the Dean of Student Support Services at Mission College.

Dan has served in several positions at Mission College since his full time hire in 2001. (Dan served as a Mission College Reading Department, Associate Faculty member, as well.) Dan’s duties include supervision of the Instruction Division’s Counseling and Learning Services departments, and his Student Services Division duties include supervision of the following: Articulation, CalWORKS Office, Career and Transfer Center, Counseling, Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS)/ Disability Instructional Support Center (DISC) and Middle College. Also, Dan serves as the college Matriculation Coordinator, and he serves on college wide committees and work groups, including duties related to Emergency Preparedness and Evacuation.

Prior to Dan’s joining Mission College, he served as Counselor and Reading Coordinator in the SJSU Upward Bound Program, he served as the Coordinator of Project R.E.A.D.S., a Federal Government Department of Education, Right to Read Program, and he served as the SJSU EOP Admissions Director. Dan has written grant application proposals, and he received funds for the SJSU Summer Bridge Program, among other awards.
