Clement  Lam

Dean, Math, Science and Engineering

Welcome to my page!

After teaching mathematics at Mission College for the past 20 years and working intermittently as department chair and division chair, I am officially transitioning into the Dean of Math, Science and Engineering position starting January, 2018. My job is to support the 7 departments inside this division. The departments are: Astronomy, Biological Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, Nutritional Science and Physics.

Our Division has well-qualified faculty and staff who are seasoned professionals and outstanding teachers. As a team, we are here to provide you with quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education with various academic pathways and extra-curricular activities such as the involvement in our STEM Week activities. We also collaborate with on-campus programs such as the Honors Transfer Project and the grant-funded programs such as MESA, HSI-STEM, AANAPISI and STEM Core, to name a few.

If you have any questions related to STEM, please do not hesitate to contact me either by email or just come by my office. I will be happy to assist you.

All the best!
Dr. Lam
