Rick  Bennett

Vice President, Administrative Services

Rick provides budgetary structure and guidance to enhance the success of Mission College and its students. He works with teams to solve administrative issues and overcome hurdles to make bureaucratic processes as painless and as efficient as possible. He supports the College President and Vice Presidents of Instruction and Student Services on initiatives. Rick also oversee Mission College’s Auxiliary Services, Facilities, Contraction and Design Activities from the college perspective and Emergency Preparedness. Rick started at Mission in July of 2012. He previously worked at the San Mateo County Community College District for 12 years, as General Services Director and as Executive Director of Construction Planning, where he was part of the leadership team that implemented $600 million worth of design and construction at CSM, Skyline and Canada College.

Rick am a former restaurateur and chef, so In his free time, he likes to chop, dice, filet, sauté, poach, fry and grill, meaning he likes to cook…good, well executed food. He enjoy local sporting events, is a big baseball fan and loves to travel, especially to Europe and warm tropical places. He likes to scuba dive, hike, golf and ride his Moto Guzzi. In the winter, he becomes a ski bum.
